There are many Real Estate Agents (REAs) and Real Estate Negotiators (RENs) who are dedicated in their service to their customers. I think this is worth celebrating and letting the world know about it. The best buyers deserve to be served by the best in the profession too and the best in the real estate profession deserves to be recognised and honoured because of their dedication and professionalism. Last year, I could feel the magic as soon as winners of each category of the NREA were announced. This year, the National Real Estate Awards (NREA) is back. Get to know about it as below.

11th NREA Returns To Celebrate Top Performers
Petaling Jaya, May 2: The Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA) revealed its National Real Estate Awards (NREA) 2019 to celebrate real estate agents, negotiators and practitioners that have excelled this past year.
Now in its eleventh iteration, the NREA is a prestigious annual awards programme held since its inception in 2009. The awards are also closely regarded to in the industry as Malaysia’s premier real estate awards for real estate agents, probationary real estate agents and real estate negotiators.
The NREA 2019 was launched by MIEA Vice President and NREA Organizing Chairman, Mr Kelvin Yip.
The winners of the NREA truly represent the crème de la crème of the real estate fraternity and this is reflected in its new theme, ‘Be Recognized’ which acknowledges the efforts of the real estate industry to raise standards by upholding professionalism, integrity and accountability.
This year, a total of 20 categories have been announced, with the NREA gala dinner to take place on July 27, 2019 at One World Hotel which will also witness the installation of the new President for year 2019-2021. The three new categories were added including Most Tech-Savvy Real Estate Firm which seeks to promote digitization amongst real estate firms.
The NREA 2019 launch also saw prospective award bidders review the templates and guidelines for companies and or agents to submit their applications. Every year, hotly contested categories include the Real Estate Agent of the Year, Real Estate Firm of the Year, Most Innovative Marketing Idea, REN of the Year, and Million Dollar Producers (MDP).
Winners of the NREA will be accorded several forms of recognition such as a winner’s trophy, a framed certificate, and an exclusive award winners lapel pin. Winners will also be afforded media publicity and placed in an official listing of recipients in the MIEA official ‘Award Recipient’s Handbook’ as well as a permanent listing of winners on MIEA’s own website.
The awards are open to all real estate agents, firms, probationary estate agents/valuers and negotiators and prospective applicants are encouraged to download the Awards Pack at MIEA’s website.
