MIEA celebrates the Golden Standard of Estate Agents & Negotiators!
The epitome of excellence in Malaysian realty industry culminating in NREA 2016
Dubbed the most significant award in Malaysia’s real estate history, MIEA’s National Real Estate Awards (NREA) 2016 return again this year to recognize the pinnacle of excellence, and to celebrate the outstanding achievements of realtors in the field of real estate throughout 2015. Presented annually to Real Estate Agents (REA), Real Estate Firms and Real Estate Negotiators (REN), the award is also one of the most anticipated events within the Malaysian property industry.
Winners are adjudged by a professional jury panel of independent judges based upon global real estate standards. The results of the Awards will be announced at the Gala Dinner, which will be held at Sime Darby Convention Centre (SDCC) on 1 October 2016. The event is set to be graced by Guest of Honour, YB. Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani, Finance Minister II; accompanied by the President of the Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents (BOVAEA), Datuk Faizan bin Abdul Rahman.
This is the eighth year since the advent of the first MIEA National Real Estate Awards back in 2009. From just ten basic categories in its maiden or inaugural year, the NREA Awards have grown dramatically over the years to its present 19 categories, in recognition of individuals or companies who excel in diverse areas of real estate. To date, a total of 31 submissions have been received so far, with more than 20 winners to be evaluated and recognized. All nominees & candidates represent outstanding performances in their respective fields or categories.
Apart from setting the yardstick for the realty industry, press media coverage and national honours gained throughout the Awards will most certainly create many business prospects and opportunities, and strengthen property networks within local real estate circles. More importantly, it will boost public confidence, ease the recruitment for RENs and help estate agents gain more respect among their peers. A notable hot award of the evening is the ‘Million Dollar Roof Top’ (MDRT) Award, which is presented to Estate Agents who have in their personal capacity collected a minimum of RM1 million in professional fees in 2015. Three recipients will share the Award itself, to be bestowed upon top talents within the industry.
The Lifetime Achievement Award will also be presented to the icon or personality who has contributed significantly to the growth and development of the Malaysian realty industry throughout the years. To celebrate this momentous occasion, the National Real Estate Awards Organizing Committee would like to invite all media practitioners to witness this remarkable night on the following:
